What it is
A coordinated monthly art walk on the fourth Friday of each month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free, family-friendly, walkable downtown.
Participating venues
About 30 galleries, shops, and restaurants open their doors with featured art, refreshments, and often live music.
What to expect
Walking circuit through downtown, plaza-side blocks. Maps available at most venues. Wine, light food, and conversation with artists at most stops.
Year-round
Runs monthly except occasionally December (replaced by the Christmas Lighting weekend) and major holidays.
How to plan
Park once on the plaza after 5 p.m. (free). Walk Cortez to Sheldon to Montezuma to Granite, hitting venues. Dinner before or after. Two hours covers most of the route.
