Granite Basin Recreation Area

Iron Springs Road, ten minutes west. Trail #305 (5.5 miles) and connecting routes through the Granite Mountain foothills. Mostly intermediate, rocky technical sections.

Watson Lake area

Peavine Trail (flat, beginner) plus Granite Dells singletrack for intermediate and advanced. Iron King Trail extends north for distance.

Bradshaw Mountain trails

The 56-mile Prescott Circle Trail loops the entire town, much of it through Bradshaw foothills. Sections range from easy to advanced.

Bike rentals and shops

Thumb Butte Mountain Bikes on Iron Springs Road runs hardtail and full-suspension rentals, repairs, and trail beta. Local shops point you to current trail conditions.

Best season

Year-round. Spring and fall are ideal. Summer dawn rides only. Winter rideable between snow days.

IMBA designation

Prescott has been working toward IMBA Ride Center status. Trail mileage and signage have improved each year.
