The Courthouse Plaza lighting
The 72nd Courthouse Lighting is Saturday, Dec 5, 2026. Chamber singers start on the north steps at 5 pm and the courthouse and more than 80 trees light at 6 pm, then fireworks. A free shuttle runs from Yavapai College to downtown.
The parades
The Holiday Light Parade is Saturday, Nov 28 at 6 pm with a bonfire at 7. The 44th Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec 5 from 1 to 3 pm, and Santa stays on the plaza until 5. Arrive early to find a curb.
Shopping and markets
Holiday boutiques fill the plaza buildings and downtown shops. Sharlot Hall hosts a frontier Christmas event. Local makers do pop-ups in early December.
Lights tour
Drive through downtown after dinner. Several neighborhoods nearby decorate heavily. The Acker Music Festival night fills downtown with music throughout the season.
