Children and family programs
Story time runs several mornings a week for toddlers and preschoolers. Summer Reading kicks off in early June with crafts, magicians, and reading-log prizes. The youth section sits on the east side of the main floor.

Author talks, computer-skill classes, the Founders Suite, and rotating exhibitions. The library partners with Yavapai College and the Sharlot Hall Museum on Arizona-history programs.
Founders Suite
A dedicated Arizona-history reading room with territorial newspapers, Yavapai County records, Prescott city directories back to the 1880s, and a small reference desk with a librarian who knows the collection.
Cards and digital access
Yavapai County residents get a free card. Digital access includes Libby for ebooks and audiobooks, hoopla for movies, and Mango for languages.
